Banana Apple Bread

Banana Apple Bread

(Makes 1 loaf)

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3 T. yogurt
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1 banana)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cream together butter and both sugars.  Beat in eggs.  Stir in yogurt, lemon juice, banana and vanilla.  In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients just until moistened.  Fold in chopped apples and pecans.  Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350* for about 1 hour.  Remove from pan and allow to cool.  Wrap and store in fridge.
