Owl in Palm Tree

Spring comes early in the Sonoran Desert, and it’s already nesting season for a pair of owls in our neighborhood, who have taken up residence high in the palms. I caught this one perched there in broad daylight, watching the traffic go by (or so it seemed).

Look close! He (or she) blends in pretty well! (And those palm trees are really tall!)
