Weekly Challenge #2 – 5 Minute Bread
Recently, I keep hearing about 5 Minute Bread. It seems it’s the latest rage.
So, not to be outdone, I am going to try to make some myself this week. Now, to be fair, this will not be my first time making bread (although it doesn’t always turn out). However, it WILL be my first time making bread with this 5-minute technique. First, I will have to look up a recipe and instructions… I’ll document my attempt with photos and post the results. Check back to see how I do! And I challenge you to try it yourself – let me know how it goes!

I’m onto my second batch with a new recipe. The first batch was so so. It seemed very runny and was hard to work with (it could very well have been “user error”). One of my favorite ways to use the bread so far is for pizza crust. It’s so nice to just pull it out, top it, and bake. The next recipe I make will be specially for sandwich bread. I’ll look forward to hearing what you think about yours.

I was actually afraid the dough would be runnier than it was, since the recipe used a significantly lower proportion of flour to liquid than I am used to. Which lead me to wonder if I’d measured wrong? Oh well. We’ll see next time I make it if it turns out the same or not!
